One of the ways Mitt was able to keep the Massachusetts Legislature on budget was by cutting education, which is a huge problem. If this is the kind of slashing-and-burning you would want to see in the White House, on a national scale in other words, then I can't share your endorsement for this candidate. He cut education to the gills in this state. On that note "grafty and corrupt" is a redundancy. Based on the education of our current president I'm not sure if people hold it in as high a regard as they should anymore. Education is a huge issue but also he's been a turncoat on others. I'm not sure if I would trust him as our president.

I donated to Mitt's campaign. He's not the slash-and-burn Libertarian that I would like to see in office, but he was able to keep the Massachusetts Legislature on budget, and that's saying something, considering how grafty and corrupt our state legislature is.
